About Us

kmd RELOCATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES was founded by Karen Dana in 2000.  Prior to this, Ms. Dana was an office manager for a mid-size, financial district law firm in San Francisco for 18 years.  During that time she managed countless projects including relocations, renovations, build-outs, computer and phone system rollouts and various equipment selections and installations.

 

Along with skills honed when developing office systems and procedures, event planning, and supervising staff, these experiences enable her to handle the extensive range of tasks required to relocate our clients from a unique perspective.  Having been responsible for directing the operations of a professionally demanding office, she fully understands the perspective of her equally busy clients.

 

Consequently, our project plans incorporate the day-to-day needs of a busy working office, as well as those of an office in transition to a new location.  This view point benefits our clients prior to the move, during the relocation itself, and afterwards as they settle into their new space and is reflected in our list of extremely satisfied clients.
