WILL YOU BE READY FOR THE FIRST 72 HOURS?
Just like a successful office move requires a strong collaborative effort, experts on emergency planning are counting on a strong collaborative effort in the Bay Area when the Big One strikes.
Officials responsible for developing emergency plans are counting on each of us to be ready to take care of ourselves for the first few days (a minimum of 72 hours) after a major earthquake, so don't forget to provide space for emergency supplies when planning your new office space.
Here's some information on a variety of resources to help you and everyone at your office get prepared so that your business is equipped and ready to deal with emergencies:
- 72hours.org was developed by San Francisco's Office of Emergency Services. At this site you'll find information about how to prepare for a variety of emergencies (including earthquakes) and what steps to take if an emergency occurs.
